i need a dos conversion software from isa to pci architectur

HI friends,
in general i have an isa card with the software in dos mode and i have a pci card with with the software in the windows mode, the isa and pci card do the same work.
i need to run the pci card with the isa software but i cant cause the diferent architecture so in need a software that run befor the isa software to make the conversion between the isa software and pci card.
i will be thanksfull for ur help.

auto copying from diskette to directory

I have a number of files i have to pull from one pc to a network daily. The files are date stamped so not the same file name every day.

example

Status Report 2408.csv
Agent Report 2408.txt

The directory i wish to copy them to will also be different each day.

c Folder 1\Folder2\ddmm
(ddmm being date and month)

Ok for my computer class, we use this program called TurboC++. And it is also required for us to download it off the internet, from our teachers webpage, to use at home. I downloaded the program and it worked for only a week, but after that it stopped running and shows this error message:

C;\ WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications

I ask the teacher and he doesn't really know whats wrong. My computer...

I am trying to get a batch file to ping a server. If the ping is succesful then I want it to say "server is online"

If it is not succesful then I want it to say "server is currently offline"

cdrom not detected in dos 6.22

help:
can anyone tell me why my cdrom in dos 6.22 keep saying invalid drive specification.

when i start my pc with the bootup disk(6.22) that i download from a website it detects a cdrom and gives it the letter R, but when i copied dos to my hard drive it doesn't detect any
cdrom although the config.sys and autoexec.bat on the boot disk and the hard drive are the same...

help anyone..

hi guys, don't know if anyone will know how to do this but i though i might as well ask.

I have a lan with computers called

computer001, computer002, computer003 and so on

I need to copy a file to them, like

copy test.txt \\computer001\c$\folder\

No i can use the net use command and map the drive first and then unmap it if you can't copy as i listed above but my problem is can i use a counter to increment the 001 part of the computer name or do i have to...

fdisk problems

When i try to use fdisk it stucks,in the delete disk drive
it writes to me "current fixed disk drive :1 "
and then stuck,i can't make esc,or anything else
what should i do?

I have to create a login script to upgrade client pc's to SP3 , instllation files are on the server and I have to map and copy locally.

then I have to edit the registry to disable the "automatic Update" .........

I have a batch file that creates local user accounts for on my FTP server. some times if the /comment field is tyo long or has an invaolid character in it the command net user errors out.

I would like to stop the batchfile from continueing if this happens, any ideas?

I have a set of .txt files in a dir,when i run the script i want to capture the filename in a var,after which i do some substitution kind of thing which will be redirected to a diff file say new.txt and then i want to rename this new.txt to its old name..

I want to create a BAT file that will ask for a destination folder.
For example I would like it to ask:

What directory would you like to open? ________
(And then the operator enters the folder destination and then that folder will be opened)

I guess I'm asking how do take the information you type and place into a command line?
